Can synchronous/blocking mode API be provided?

Asked by Yun Wu

As described in bug#1261683, so far synchronous/blocking mode is not really supported.
So, would you please provide that to simplify codes/logic in applications who call libmosquitto APIs?
Thanks.

Yes, this should be present in version 1.4.

Can I invite you to join the mosquitto-dev mailing list to discuss
this sort of thing, rather than using the launchpad interface?

Cheers,

Roger

OK, I am joining, but can not promise I will always be active :-)
I am active these days because I am working on a project based on mosquitto, for my company.
BTW, Roger, do you work on mosquitto as a full time job? :-)

Thanks,
Yun

Great! I'm not asking you to be active, it's just an easier and better
place to have this sort of discussion in my opinion.

I only work on mosquitto in my spare time, but I'm very happy to
receive donations :)
