minimalist version

Asked by Eugene Campbell

I would like to take part in developing a minimalist version, which I see has already been approved. I can't program but I can serve as a tester. It would be useful to me if my thin-client (Edubuntu) student users had no capacity to fiddle around with their decks and various settings, rather be able only to go through the decks I create for them and answer how well they have memorized the vocabulary questions.

Thanks.

Thank you very much. Will try this as soon as I get version 2 beta up and running.

Maybe it was trivial for you to make, Peter, but it will far more than trivial for me and my students. You are a gentleman and I am grateful.

Do you have Paypal? If so, I'd like to send a small donation, like US$20. More, I will make it a point to participate in the project with statistical information about what my students accomplish, however you need. We (my wife and I run this small school together and alone) plan to launch in May, but I will be testing next month. If we are successful we plan to expand this over many small after-school academies throughout Korea, including public service projects where possible.

I believe I noticed that you did some translation work in Croatian. Are you from the Balkans? My wife is Bulgarian and we live in Korea :-)

Glad you like it!

Thanks for the offer of donation, but I don't take donations for Mnemosyne, as
it's just a hobby project.

The Croation translation of Mnemosyne was not contributed by me.

Greetings from Belgium,

Peter
