trunk series

Asked by Josh

How come my 0.5.8 seems to come before 0.5.4 in the history?
And what are these two series - the other one being "0.x" ("Active development")? What is (are) the difference(s) between this "Focus of Development" and that (lower numbered) "Active development", please?
Well, I am not a geek. Here at least. I could try some day (or I could help translating soon - when I've got what's what here) (I should know what's relevant to consciously submit bug reports at least).

Apart from my desired general understanding, there is a question if I'm using a version that's being developed or not. Please.

If this "Janitor" is a bot, it should get reprogrammed to expire questions after a much longer period, if at all.
Yes, I do have this question. Still. Surprise!

If you do not get an answer here (and I cannot provide one, either), you should consider trying other means of contact, e.g. http://www.midori-browser.org/contribute/#join_irc_chat_rooms

Thank you, Manfred. You won the medal of "The Only Other Man" Award.:)
I prefer forums though. If there are developers who develop, there should be places where to find some. Or just some educated users for that matter.
The browser is kinda cool. The problem is I don't know how to refer to it being up-to-date, more up-to-date, left-to-the-right-to-date... There are streams for other browsers - they are kinda obvious and independenty and usualy easily updated, while here I can't get it.
Happy year 2017, Manfred!
