Loop induced process

Asked by laura duarte

Dear mg5aMC authors,

I am currently trying to generate the process a a > z a, z > e+ e- [noborn=QED].

Firstly, I'm not sure if I can include z(or any) decay for loop processes. It is possible with MG5?
When I try to generate events with this syntax I get the following error "InvalidCmd : No particle a, in model", which clearly doesn't make sense.

Does MG5 compute loops with decay chain?

Many thanks

You are correct, we can not do decay chain for loop computation.

Cheers,

Olivier
