what are lpp1 and lpp2

Asked by Antonio Sandroni

Hi; I didn't understand the options lpp1 and lpp2.
If I have the process mu+ mu- > e+ e- where the muons are not coming from other beams but are the initial states of the process, do I need to set lpp1 and lpp2 to 0 or to 1 and -1 because they are muons?

Hi,

0 means no PDF.
If that fit your case than you can keep that value.
If you need a PDF than you have to change that value.

Cheers,

Olivier
