There seems to be something wrong with the compiler. But I don't know how to solve it.
Do you have any good suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

According to the error message, the bug is in gfortran not in our code.

So my suggestion would be to update your compiler in order to check if that issue has been fixed in more recent version of the compiler. I have seen similar report in the past and typically this was with quite old compiler.

Keep me in touch if this fix the problem or not.

Cheers,

Olivier

Thank you for your reply.
I used gcc version 4.8.5 before, but now I have upgraded it to 8.3.1, but the same problem still appears.
What should I do next?

Cheers,

Chenzhiliang

I'm testing with gcc10.2

Will see if I also have an issue.

No issue here,
Now I have tracked the amount of RAM used and it is not that small. (~2Gb of RAM only used by the python handling of the code, for the generation)

So on system with only 4Gb of RAM, you might want to run via ./bin/generate_events rather than using the launch command directly after the output command.

But I have really no clue if the gfortran crash is memory related or not.

Cheers,

Olivier

Can you help with this problem?
