Making 2HDM type 1 model

Asked by Sarah

Hello
I want to study a process in 2HDM type I, and there is no model for this type.
Is there a way of making this model in type I ? If yes, can you explain how or if this question was answered before post the link, please?

Best regards
Sarah

Hi,

Our recommended way to create the model that fit your needs is to use FeynRules to generate the model that fit your need.
Conceptually you will need to write your Lagrangian in mathematica and FeynRules will convert your Lagrangian into a UFO format.

Note that Feynrules website contains a huge list of model that have been already implementing and they typically includes both the .fr (i.e. the definition of the Lagrangian) and the UFO model. If none of the 2hdm model in that website fits your need you might still used the the .fr file as a starting point for the creation of your model.

Alternative code exists: Sarah, LanHep

Cheers,

Olivier

Thank you Olivier

there are files. fr ( 2HDM.fr , HiggsBasis.fr , Lag.fr, Params.fr and SMParts.fr) I tried to load them in order the the restriction files (I edited one str file which is typeIIbeta that corresponds to Yukawa coupling to be suitable for type 1), but it was not successful

any advice?

Hi,

I would not be able to help on the FeynRules side, since I do not have personnaly enough experience with that tool.
My only advise is to contact the FeynRules author if you need help with that tool.

Cheers,

Olivier

Thank you Olivier

Correct me if I am wrong please

The procedures are loading the .fr files of 2HDM ( no edit) and the .res files ( they can be edited to the wanted model)
Then do some test in Mathematica.

I don't know if the .fr files of 2HDM that are in feynrules website( http://feynrules.irmp.ucl.ac.be/attachment/wiki/2HDM/2HDM.tar.gz) can be used for any type of the model?

Sorry last (and only) time I have used Feynrules was in 2010...
So I do not even remember that they were some .res file

Sorry,

Olivier
