Four-fermion operator

Asked by rojalin padhan

Dear mg5 experts,

I found at some of the previous questions that the mg5 can not handle 4-fermion operator with Majorana fermion. Could you please let me know about the current status?

Is there any way to solve this issue?

thanks,
Rojalin

Hi,

This is the exact same status since 2012.
The best solution is to use effective super masssive scalar to split the four point interaction into three point interaction.

In principle, such model are veto at the "import model" stage
and the issue is checked when one need to create the corresponding helicity routine.
So in principle, you can bypass the first crash and if your process does not lead to a crash it is very likely that everything is fine.

Cheers,

Olivier
