initail state radiation at e+e- collider

Asked by Rui Zhang

Hi!

I am trying to generate events at high energy e+e- collider at several TeV. The initial state radiation is supposed to be important.

And I notice madgraph can deal with the pdf of photon from electron, but no electron from electron. Is it right?

Seems Pythia do not add electroweak parton shower. So how can I deal with the initial state radiation problem with madgraph? Is it OK to generate additional photons (I think there should be double counting, like what is in QCD parton shower), or what is the correct method of the matching problem?

Hi,

ISR is handle natively since 3.2.0.
and before that a plugin was existing.

Please read 2108.10261 <https://arxiv.org/abs/2108.10261> for details/instructions.

Cheers,

Olivier
