WARNING: Unknow type of information in the card: upmns, vckm, snumix

Asked by Pauline May Amethyst G. Salise

Good day!

I'm still learning on how to use MadGraph and I come upon this warning while running the simulation "WARNING: Unknow type of information in the card: upmns, vckm, snumix ". Although the simulation still proceeds to run. Is this going to affect the results or should I leave it at that?

Hi,

This means that you provide in your param_card.dat (your benchmark point) information that the model does not expect / will use. This can be worrysome since this means that you have a missmatch between the benchmark that you provide and the expected format for the model which might indicates a convention missmatch between the two (or that the model does not support arbitraty value for part of the mixing/...)

So the computation is correct when you have such warning but maybe not the one that you expect.

Cheers,

Olivier
