install topdrawer

MadAnalysis5 is not compatible with python3.
If you want to use MA5, you have to force Madgraph5_aMC@NLO to use a python 2.7
For tnat you have to specify the path to your python2.7 executable

like
python2.7 ./bin/mg5_aMC

I'm not able to run/use topdrawer on mac anymore

Thanks for replying. As you saied topdrawer can not run on mac, and how do you get the distribution plots for the result?

I use MadAnalysis5 for the plot when I used them.
Which can not be run from MG5aMC if that one is running python3 (as default).
As stated in the other question you can force MG5aMC to use python27 which allows to run/install MA5 from MG5aMC.

PS: The next version of MadAnalysis5 (1.9) should add the support for python3 but I'm not an author of that tool so I can not comment on when this will be publicly available
