QCD correction to EW process

Asked by Meng Lu

Dear MG experts,

I want to generate samples for the pure EW processes (e.g., the VBS) with QCD corrections, i'm wondering whether the current MG could handle this correction or not, if yes, how to apply the trick?

Cheers,

Meng

You have to choose how you want to handle the pentagon contribution
in our 2.x version those contributions are not included while in our 3.x they will be included in the computation. In 2.x this can sometimes lead to an issue with non cancelling pole and in that case the solution is to bypass those tests (check the other threads on launchpad if you face that)

for the rest the syntax is simply
generate p p > w+ w- j j QCD=0 [QCD]

Cheers,

Olivier
