calculate differential cross section

Hi,

What is the scale/pdf uncertainty on each number of that computation?
Have you check that you use the same scale/pdf as them?

Hi,

Their plot is actually NLO+PS accuracy, while your plot is NLO accuracy.
So you can indeed have difference in shape between those two precision (difference which can also depend of the parton-shower program that you use)
Additionally to that, the cut applied after parton-shower are not exactly the same as the cut before the parton-shower making even more plausible that you find such difference.

thanks your reply Olivier,
the Madgraph version which i used this process is MG5_aMC_v2_5_0_beta2, in this version i installed the pythia8 using install pythia8, and i applied those cuts and calculated, but final step there appear some error massage like not found -ld ....,
and i can't fixed this error , can you tell me how to fixed this ?

thanks your help Olivier,
this problem is sloven , but i modify the run_card.dat shower=PYTHIA8 , and run it again, but there appear another error massage like that:
NFO: Idle: 0, Running: 0, Completed: 0 [ current time: 20h25 ]
Command "launch " interrupted with error:
IOError : [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/home/ablikim/tools/MG5_aMC_v2_5_0_beta2_2/bin/PROCNLO_loop_sm_0/MCatNLO/RUN_PYTHIA8_1/events.hepmc.gz'
