Fail to produce pythia output

I am trying to generate events , using pythia. But I have received the following error "Fail to produce pythia output". However, the in the madgraph I have installed pythia properly. I am using the madgraph bersion "MG5_aMC_v2_4_3". How can I remove the problem.

Hi,

With that few information, I do not have any idea of what the problem is.
Note that the latest version of the code is 2.5.3 and one of the important change is that we dropped the support of pythia6 (the only one supported in 2.4.3) to pass to pythia8.

So my suggestion would to test with 2.5.3 and pythia8.

PS: You can also look at the log of pythia6, such kind of message are typically related to an internal error of pythia6. (But pythia6 is not supported by their author anymore so except if this is obvious, no one will help you on that)
