Upsilon at MadGraph

Asked by kamuran

Dear Experts,

I am trying to generate Upsilon at MadGraph, but it seems MadGraph does not include this particle. Is there a way to generate Upsilon(1S, 2S, 3S) using MadGraph. For example, p p > Upsilon and Upsilon decays to muon pairs.

Best,
Kamuran

Hi,

The Madgraph4 version of our code had a module called MadOnia which was able to compute such quantity.
As far as I know this code is still working but he is not maintained since a long time.
Actually Hua-Sheng devellop some tools in the same direction. So I hope that he can give you more information.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi,

Yes MadOnia was part of MadGraph/MadEvent version 4.
So if install it from that link: http://madgraph.physics.illinois.edu/Downloads/MG_ME_V4.5.2.tar.gz
You will have MadOnia available on that version.

Cheers,

Olivier
