i cant untar the madgraph file

hello
i tried to untar the file using the following step
tar -xzf MG5_aMC_v2.4.3.tar.gz
and i got
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
ould you please help me with that issue

The downloaded file probably is incomplete or broken.
Deleting the file and downloading again might help.

Hi,

From which website/page/link did you try to download the file?
The tar-ball is actually not corrupted. So maybe some of the link pointing to the tarball are not up-to-date.

thanks for help i redownloaded the file and i used an older version and it works fine
