model for BSM low mass resonances

Asked by Davide

Hi,

I'd like to generate spin-1 (and possibly spin-2 too) resonances at the GeV scale with MG. However, because of the very low mass of the new resonance, I think that none of the models included in MG could fit (right?). Do you have any suggestion for a "toy" model to be used in my case?

Thanks,
Davide.

Hi,

I would suggest that you look at the Feynrules model database. It should have the model needed for you.
I do not see any problem of using model created for high mass and use those for low mass benchmark.
If you have doubt that the model misses term(not sure which one), I would suggest that you either check their presence in the model and/or contact the author
of the specific model.

Cheers,

Olivier
