Error detected for pp>N02 N02, N02>N01 h02, h02>b b~ j
Hi,
I'm trying to simulate Next to Lightest Supersymm. Particle --> Lightest Supersymm. Particle + Higgs (Any Higgs in NMSSM), then Higgs --> b bbar, including the cases with b b~ + hard jets.
Without jets, i.e. end stage b b~, I get no errors at all. However, when I calculate the processes ending in b b~ j, b b~ jj etc, I get a bunch of errors which don't make much sense to me!
Here's the error at the end of the run, when it crashes (pre-pythia):
Error when reading /home/ast1g15/
Command "generate_events run_01" interrupted with error:
ValueError : could not convert string to float:

Please attach this file to your report.
Additionally I get "ERROR DETECTED:" in-between the INFO: Idle (number), Running: (number), Completed: (number) [time elapsed] messages...
The commands I'm running are:
import model nmssm -modelname #Keeping the particle names as they are
define h = h01 h02 h03 a01 a02 #So that it considers all higgs in NMSSM
generate p p > n2 n2, (n2 > n1 h, h > b b~) #running with just this process causes no errors
add process p p > n2 n2, (n2 > n1 h, h > b b~ j) #running with this (or only generating this) process causes the above errors
output MyScript1
launch MyScript1
pythia=ON
delphes=ON
/home/ast1g15/
/home/ast1g15/
set nevents=10000
I'm really not sure what is causing the errors, since the only difference is a hard jet which seems strange to be throwing a string-float conversion error...
Cheers,
Alex
