Asked by Mamutjan

how to generate a p > w+ j , w+ > l+ vl in NLO ?

When I did this process through madgraph,
there was a erro like following in terminal:
Error detected in "generate a p > w+ j , w+ > l+ vl [QCD]"
write debug file MG5_debug

Hi,

You have two solutions:
1) generate a p > l+ vl j [QCD]
2) generate a p > w+ j [QCD]
and then use madspin for decaying the W

Cheers,

Olivier

Hello,

I've just tried this process on my computer and did not encounter any problems (using the default setup).

In your case, it seems like a compilation error. What are the contents of the /home/mamutjan/QCDap/run_01_tag_1_debug.log file? Can you try going to /home/mamutjan/QCDap/SubProcesses/P0_ua_wpd/ and execute "make test_ME" ? What is the error message (if any)?

Best,
Rikkert
