mssm and mssm-full models

Asked by Juhi Dutta

Hi,

I am encountering a situation in which my spectra runs using mssm-full model and not in mssm.
What is the difference between the mssm and mssm-full models in MG5 ?

Regards,

Juhi

Hi,

The “mssm” correspond to a simplified case where the left and right scalar have the same mass.
They are also some other restriction on the mixing matrices,…

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi,

ok so in mssm left and right scalar must have the same soft masses. regarding the other constraints , is there any specific code of maddgraph5 which i can see to get the information ? just out of curiosity.

Juhi

Hi,

The easiest is to run in debug mode
(./bin/mg5 —debug)
then all the restriction to the mssm-full to pass to the mssm are displayed on the screen. (They are quite a lot)

Cheers,

Olivier
