EWdim6 model with pp->WZ cross section = 0

Asked by senka duric

Dear MadGraph authors,
I am using MG5 v5.2.2.3. and trying to use EWdim6 BSM model (aTGC) when generating pp->WZ events at 13TeV. Resulting cross section for SM, when setting all BSM parameters to 0, (using default run_card) is zero:

Using random number seed offset = 30

Survey return zero cross section.
   Typical reasons are the following:
   1) A massive s-channel particle has a width set to zero.
   2) The pdf are zero for at least one of the initial state particles
      or you are using maxjetflavor=4 for initial state b:s.
   3) The cuts are too strong.
   Please check/correct your param_card and/or your run_card.

When setting all parameters to value 1 the cross section is non zero but very small: 0.000741 +- 2.246e-06 pb.
The same model seems to be working fine for pp->W+W-.
I see some information here: https://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/projects/madgraph/wiki/FAQ-General-14, but in this case (pp->WZ) there is no 4 point interactions and the coupling of three vector bosons is allowed and set to SM value, it is not set to 0.
What is the cause of this problem and how to fix it? Am I missing something? Thank you in advance!

These are my commands for wz process:
import model EWdim6
generate p p > w+ l+ l-, w+ > l+ vl @0
add process p p > w- l+ l-, w- > l- vl~ @1

Greetings,
Senka

The automatic assignment for this model is not working for that process.

Cheers,
