Few events generated in VBF at 100 TeV

Asked by Matthew Low

Hi MadGraph Team,

I've experienced a similar issue described in https://answers.launchpad.net/mg5amcnlo/+question/246169, specifically that very few events are produced for the process:

generate p p > j j z QCD=2 QED=1, z > vl vl~
add process p p > j j j z QCD=3 QED=1, z > vl vl~

using deltaeta=4. I am wondering why the generation efficiency is worse than at ecm=8 or 14 TeV (where I get as many events as I ask for) and if there are any tricks to increase the efficiency (as this is making it very difficult to produce a reasonable sample size for our analysis)?

Thanks!
- Matthew

VBF process are already tricky for us at 14TeV, this can only be worse at 100TeV.

Cheers,
