parton level

Asked by sama

hi,

 I want to produce q q~ > a c c~

where q q~ > a g following by g > c c~ splitting in the parton shower.
I noticed that I should use parton level, I set ickkw=1 and pythia on, is it enough? or I should change something in run_card and phythia_card?

if i want use matching =15 GeV, where should I insert it?

thanks

Dear Sama,

Your question are extremely confusing and either I don’t understand at all what you ask for
or you need to think more about what you are doing.

I would suggest that you start by discussing with some colleges with experience in Monte-Carlo generation
to ensure that what you are doing makes sense.

Cheers,

Olivier
