Registering a new mirror

Asked by Shinjo Park

I want to provide new mirror of Medibuntu in Korea. We were already keeping in sync with rsync://packages.medibuntu.org in interval of 3 days. Some details of our mirror follows:

* Access methods: http, ftp, rsync
* Address: (http,ftp,rsync)://ftp.kaist.ac.kr/medibuntu
* Mirroring everything from rsync://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu
* We're already providing mirrors of Ubuntu itself as kr.archive.ubuntu.com.

How can I get registered on the mirror list?

Hello,

I've updated http://www.medibuntu.org/repository.php to add your mirror in the list.

We can add a kr.packages.medibuntu.org DNS record if you want to.

Thanks for this mirror!

Thanks for fast reply. As soon as you add kr.packages.medibuntu.org DNS record, we will do the remaining work.
