Prevent hibernate when a Me TV record is scheduled

Asked by flrtx

Sometimes, I accidentally set the PC to hibernate even if there's a scheduled recording. Is it possible to show a warning or prevent the PC from going to hibernate mode?

Hi,

This question pops up often! Now me-tv doesn't control any power management,
so you need to play with those options within power management. I'm not sure
if this is even possible, unless your BIOS supports wake-up (most claim to
but it never works!) Then you would need to have the channel selected an
programmed to record.
I've never tried this, so I could be wrong in the approach to achieve
such... please advise if you have any success...
