Aria engine on windows ignoring DATA DIRECTORY option without messages

Asked by alexandre hadjinlian guerra

Hi

Im having some trouble with Aria data engine on MariaDB 10.1.13 for windows 64 bit on windows server 2012 64bit with DATA DIRECTORY and INDEX DIRECTORY being ignored while creating tables. The option NO_DIR_IN_CREATE is not set in the ini, but i cant see if its active . Going to try with InnoDB. When specifying ENGINE=MyISAM, a warning is returned reporting that the option its being ignored .
The docs are not clear if the option is not a possibility on windows. I could see that on Oracle's MySQL docs, this option on MyISAM doesnt work, and i wonder if this the same behavior on MariaDB

Thanks for the info

Yes, it's the same with MariaDB. If you want us to implement this feature, you can create an issue at jira.mariadb.org.

Can you help with this problem?
