MadAnalysis 5

Installation of MadAnalysis is failed

After deleting MadGraph folder and installing it a problem occured with MadAnalysis. First, when trying to install it, it writes first:

"...Successful installation of 'madanalysis5' in '/home/movchynnikov/Downloads/MG5/HEPTools'.
madanalysis5 successfully installed in /home/movchynnikov/Downloads/MG5/HEPTools.
    To install recasting capabilities of madanalysis5 and/or..."

But after displaying the string "save configuration file to /home/movchynnikov/Downloads/MG5/input/mg5_configuration.txt" it writes:

"Command "install MadAnalysis5" interrupted with error:
InvalidCmd : Installation of madanalysis5 failed..."

I ignored this error and tried to run events. MadAnalysis pdf output is generated, however, I don't see the hystograms.

What can be a reason for this and how to solve it?

Without more information, I am afraid I can't help you. I cannot get what is going on with what you mentioned.

How do you think, what can be the reason for MadAnalysis to doesn't draw the histograms in the MA5_parton_analysis_analysis1.pdf file?

Hi Maksym,

Is ROOT installed on your computer? I believe MA5 requires ROOT to draw histograms.
