Switching Delphes Cards

Asked by Jasper

Hi there,

I am using madanalysis to run Delphes over my pythia.hep file. I am using MA5 1.6.16 in reconstruction mode. I want to change the Delphes card that is being used. I have copied my own .tcl file into /tools/delphes/cards. However, I do not know how to make MA5 use that card instead of the default. Can anyone help me with this? Would it be an idea to replace the content of the default (when it asks if I want to alter the card) with the content of my own card?

Thanks in advance,
Jasper

Hi Jasper,

You can replace the default cards located in
  tools/SampleAnalyzer/Interfaces/delphes

In the future, we will implement a feature allowing the user to set directly the path to a card, but in the meantime, the above trick works.

Cheers,

Benjamin
