is it possible to analyse root files using madanalysis 5?

dear sir , i have root files for both signal and background. is it possible to calculate the signal significance using these root files in madanalysis 5 ?

Hi,

Yes it is. Please use the reco mode (./bin/ma5 -R) and follow the instructions given in the manual.
