save events after cut?

Dear (Mad)Analysts,

just a simple question:

is there a way in madanalysis to make a cut and then to save the survived events to a new event file (e.g. LHCO)?

Even if not, this feature would be definitely useful, to avoid processing every time a huge background just to cut it :)

I agree that this would be a very nice feature to add. It is now on our to-do list.
