tau hadronic decay

Asked by Gang Li

Dear MA5 Team,

I am simulating h -> ta+ ta-, with tau decays into rho and then two pions.
But I do not konw how to identify pions.
Can they be activated by implementing
PHYSICS->mcConfig().AddHadronicId(111);
PHYSICS->mcConfig().AddHadronicId(211);
......?

Thanks a lot.

Gang Li

Hi,

It depends what is the format of your event sample and what you want to do. The snippet of code you are mentioning may work in some cases.

Cheers,

Benjamin
