variable bin size histogram

Asked by Michael Vasmer

Is there any way of plotting a variable bin size histogram using ma5? I want to plot some MC data in a variable bin width histogram to compare it with some LHC plots.

Dear Michael,

Not in the normal mode. For this, you need to either the expert running mode of the program, or to choose a smaller bin size and merge bins together when rebinning the output root file.

Cheers,

Benjamin
