Turn Kobuk team to Private

Asked by Mariano Finochietto

I can't turn the visibility of https://launchpad.net/~kobuk-team to Private. Whenever I try to do it, it says: "This team cannot be converted to Private since it is referenced by a teammembership."

Do you know how can I solve this issue?

Thank you

The visibility of the team "kobuk-team" on Launchpad cannot be changed to Private because there are team memberships associated with it. To resolve this, you need to remove or reassign all team memberships linked to "kobuk-team" before attempting to change its visibility to Private. Once all team memberships are cleared or reassigned, you should be able to make the team Private successfully.

Thanks for the answer. When you say to remove team membership, you mean for this case in particular to remove the "OEM Solutions Group", right?

Hi Mariano,
Yes but you have to check if there are others teams subscribed.

Where can I see the other subscribed teams? I already deactivated the teams
that were members (OEM Solutions Group and Canonical FAE) but I still get
the same error message.

Sorry Mariano,
I gave you an incomplete information.
You have to check if your team "kobuk-team" is subscribed or is member of other teams: to resolve this, you need to remove or reassign all team memberships linked to "kobuk-team" as said by anug12345

Thank you for your response. I don't understand how to "remove or reassign
all team memberships linked to "kobuk-team". Is it enough if I remove all
members from the team?

Thanka

Is your team member of another team?
if you go there ~kobuk-team/+participation what do you see?

No, if I enter https://launchpad.net/~kobuk-team/+participation it says:
“The Kobuk team” team has not yet joined any teams.

Hi Mariano,

A fix has been released for this issue, could you check whether you can now set your team to private?

Can you help with this problem?
