How do I remove this id from Launchpad

Asked by Mark Hull-Richter

I have changed my name and email address since I subscribed and would like to eliminate the old name altogether. I did not see anywhere that I could just remove this from Launchpad.

How do I delete this entry?

The recommended approach is to just change the details on your old account, rather than creating a whole new one.

You can remove the old account at https://launchpad.net/~/+deactivate-account, or merge it into your new one at https://launchpad.net/people/+requestmerge.

I hope those gets through.

I found a delete account link on the password change screen and deleted the
account. This I cannot log in through the link you sent to acknowledge this.
