Remove Ghost Packages

Asked by W. Andrew Loe III

I'm trying to copy packages to my PPA, but it says published binaries exist. I have no package in my package list, so I'd like the following cleared from https://launchpad.net/~onehub/+archive/ppa/

rubygems
ruby1.9.1
ruby1.8

Then I can recopy from my source.

It seems that these are also in my private PPA (https://launchpad.net/~onehub/+archive/private/+packages), I'd like them cleared out.

Once you've had a source or binary file published in a PPA, that PPA can never have a file with the same name but different content, even after the old file is deleted. This applies to both uploads (https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+faq/990) and copies. It's not possible to clear them out, so you'll need to increase the version.

Can you help with this problem?
