Not getting email for openpgp key

I submitted my fingerprint a few days ago and never got an email to complete the import process. I can try again but don't want to create a duplicate record.

I keep getting an error, "Launchpad could not import your OpenPGP key." No
reason is given. I opened a terminal and entered gpg --fingerprint. It gave
me a 40-digit hex string which I copied/pasted.
