Kazam did not convert movie/mux files to mp4, how can I do it?

I got two files from a recording a .movie and .mux how can I conver it to mp4 please. This is the 5th time it happens but this time it's not possible to record again. Thank you.

I am having the same problem! How did you do that with avidemux?
I am trying it, but it sais,
'cannot find a demuxer for ..../*.movie.mux.'
any help is highly appreciated!

are you trying to load the .movie file or the .mux file into avidemux and
are you on linux or windows?

What did you use? Maybe I'll try under windows...

I don' t know really I have no experience but the one I mentioned and I
didn't have to do anything but loading the file and the program recognized
it so I proceeded to convert no problem at all. By the way no .mux file
needed at all it was somehow erased.

Load the video file instead.

Hm alright.

My video file was 0 Bytes, only the .mux file contained any data, so I don't think that would work...

I was able to recover some of the audio using a program called mp3DirectCut (anyone wanting to try that: my anti virus sounded the alarm, so be careful...)

But anyways, the recording is no longer relevant for me so I think I will let it rest and maybe use some other screencasting program next time.
