Feature requests

1) adding a private message icon just like reply icon in every users' post as well as a button on their profile page. clicking this should auto populate the textarea with !username just like reply does with an @username

2) another icon on users' posts that lets you follow them easily

3) friend finder just like twitter

4) why dont we have a follower approval system like twitter, anyone can follow me?

5) have an option for making posts private - that is visible only to followers and not on the public page

6) groups - users can start their own groups

the first two are simple enough for me to accomplish and i can submit the changed code if anyone would want. it would be nice if the other feature requests are looked into.

It's not so good to put a lot of icons there. But I'll put a button in
the profile page of each user to auto populate the textarea :-)

Yep, we need to improve the search engine. +1.

4) and 5) works since months ago. "Private profile" option is
available at settings. About 4), everyone can follow you BUT they
don't read your notes if you don't follow too.

Lot of work in progress.

hey ruben

thanks for the replies. about 4) somehow i feel an follower approval system will do better with users as it is more simple to understand as well as i dont need to necessarily follow a person to let them follow me!

for now i am going to modify the follower email notification text to let the user know " user x is now following you but if your profile is private then you need to follow them too to let them see your notes" :)
