import SVG in SCAL is blank

Hello, Melissa!
Did you export SVG from Inkscape as Plain SVG? There are some differencies between plain SVG & Inkscape SVG.

Also I advise you to ungroup all groups if any.

Neither idea worked.? Any other ideas?

I can copy the image into Inskape and save.? But when I import into SCAL it is a blank square.

Melissa, is your drawing inside the page area?
If not, make sure it is, some programs clip the imported data to the page area.
