Inkscape

Tools are not working right. Star is last action. Need to Repair

How do i put the tools back to the default settings. My star and beizer are showing the last item designed. Please help ASAP as i have to complete work due today. Thank you.

Double-click on tool's icon to access the tool's settings.

Thank you. I went into the tools function and it allowed me to keep or
last use function. I will try to double click the settings
