i am having trouble printing the resultant .SVG files

i have an epson printer and i can't print to it using the inkscape print command

Hi Maren,
When I try to print I go through the steps to print and it is sent to the
printer however after a short time, in the printer box it just shows "Error
- Printing"
Not very helpful, I know!

Anything else prints just fine. This file prints to a different printer as
well

Hi Andrew,

there are a couple of related bug reports, can you browse through them and see if one of them captures your problem?
I don't know your OS and Inkscape version, and cannot check the other error output, so I cannot really help you with the search.
