Document Properties not working

Hi, A very novice user. Am working through tutorials and did Swedish Flag successfully and now working on next tutorial. I cannot get the Document Properties icon or heading to work. It worked successfully for Swedish Flag and a couple of other tutorials that I have done through U Tube. Should I uninstall and reinstall program? As mentioned very much a novice.

Hi Adele,

no, you won't need to uninstall and reinstall.

Look at the right of the window. There's a small bar, where dialogs are docked. The icon for the document properties dialog will be there, most probably. It's minimized (can be done by clicking on the little triangle icon), and due to a bug doesn't maximize on its own when you try to open the dialog by calling it from the menu. Sometimes you need to close all other dialogs in the dock to make the icon show up.

Just click on the icon to maximize again.
