problems printing while using overlays

When using speckle overlay, I can get text to look speckled on the screen. But when I print, it prints all black. What setting am I missing to get it to print as it appears on the screen ?

Hi John,

are you using the Windows 64bit Inkscape version?

There's currently a bug which prevents direct printing of partially transparent objects.
