Change general preferences units

Asked by Roberto Quintero

Is it possible to load Inkscape by deafult with mm or cm , not with pixels. I know how to change the document units but I always use mm as default not px, so every time I open Inkscape I need to go to document preferences and change the units.
Thanks

You can work with different template files (e.g. per project), and e.g. create a custom user default template with the settings you currently need for new files:

Glad it helped :)

Next time, please close the question if you consider it solved (it helps those trying to give answers to not revisit the question again and again because it has the status 'Open', and those with similar questions to find solutions in answers about the same topic).
