where do I find document properties to change a page to landscape

In 'File > Document Properties > Page', below the list of predefined 'Page Sizes' you can toggle the page orientation between portrait and landscape.

Please read the last two messages you received in detail: it asks you to use one of the links to let others know if the question is solved:

Why does it matter? If questions are not marked as solved using one of the mentioned links, they will still be listed among the questions that need further attention by those trying to provide answers (and be looked at repeatedly only to realize it has been answered already). Secondly it helps others coming to this site looking for answers to similar questions to find already given solutions.
