Cannot copy and paste between Inkscape and MS Paint

I cannot copy and paste a bazier object from one Inkscape document into another application like MS Paint.
I guess my selected Inkscape objects happen to have trouble being copied to clipboard. Is there any known way to solve this issue ?

Hello,

Could you please give your OS and Inkscape version?
That kind of clipboard issues affected Inkscape 0.46, but are fixed as of 0.47 (the last stable version is 0.48).
I've just tried with Inkscape 0.48 on Windows XP, and did not reproduce this bug.

Am using Inkscape 0.48 on Windows XP and it does not copy and paste to other applications.
