1) input in some tool contexts not recognized

possibly the same issue as reported earlier in bug #559140 “On canvas node adding doesnt work anymore” (<https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/559140>).

2) Setting Stylus0 to Screen does not get saved in preferences

The dialog was replaced in Inkscape 0.48 (<http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Release_notes/0.48#Extended_input_device_configuration>).
