problem doublesided printing on hp c4480

Hi,

I try to do duplex printing (double sided) on c4480 (fotosmart), and that doesnt seem to work. Anybody knows how ? There are three options : short edge (flip), long edge(standard) and off. I tried them all three, but didnt seem to work. Is there a certain commandline under lpr to get this work ?

Try setting the duplex at http://localhost:631/printers ?

Hi,

There is no option for duplex on cups, only doubleside printing, with three options : long edge/short edge/off. I tried them all three. I have sent the two outputs (hp-check and hp-info to <email address hidden>.

i did sent you a mail with the files this week. If I post them here, it willbe hardly readable, sincei cannot post attachements. Concerning the duplex settings, as i said in my last answer, there is no duplex setting, only doubleside printing, with three options : long edge/short edge/off. I tried them all three.

It doesn't look your printer has a duplex installed.
