Binary-only Driver Plug-in needed for printing on cm2320?

Asked by Hannes Kuhnert

The HPLIP website states, that there is a binary-only Driver Plug-in for the cm2320 MFP. The footnote says “A downloadable driver plug-in is required for printing support.” Now that these device understand PCL, what are the features that can only be used with the Driver Plug-in? Is the Driver Plug-in needed for scanning?
