CD/DVD software is too restrictive on HP PhotoSmart D7560

Asked by CharlieL

I must use the PhotoSmart CD/DVD labeling software when printing on a CD or DVD. That software does not let me manipulate font size or add multiple pix. I cannot move the photos around on the label. Also, if I use another software package like Audiolabel AND set my printer preferences so that it will print ONLY on the CD/DVD tray, the PhotoSmart printer window lights up and tells me to use the CD/DVD software included with the printer. I cannot use Audiolabel or whatever other software I want. Is there a workaround? I want to be able to print to a CD and to be able to put images and/or text anywhere.

The printer software (HPLIP) supplied by HP for Linux does not include a
labeling application. What operating system/application are you using?

This forum is for support of HP printers on the Linux operating system. For
